Kari Phillips is a jewelry artist whose limited-edition and one-of-a-kind pieces emerge from an ever-changing body of work. With a background in Art History and early years spent in fine art museums, she developed a deep appreciation for the symbols, objects, and movements that shape visual culture. Her jewelry practice continues that foundation—revisiting ancient emblems, reinterpreting modern art movements, and allowing each new piece to evolve from the last. Handcrafted in her Portland, Oregon studio, each piece is thoughtfully fabricated with careful attention to the balance of revival and originality, form and material, artistic intent and the experience of the wearer.
